A different shade that covers the head. 

A shade that represents lots and lots of memories,

lots and lots of moments, 

lots and lots of happenings of happiness, 

lots and lots of sown sorrows, 

lots and lots of tears… 

 

When I get there, 

when my head is covered in that shade of greyed,  

Will I look back and have more joys than regrets? 

Will I have stopped enough along the way to make memories of those joyous moments I lived?

What am I doing or not doing today that will build the tomorrow that I desire? 

Oh my soul, trust and follow Him today, 

And I’ll be glad that I followed His Spirit into my tomorrow. 

 

Prayer: “Lord, help me build a life with You today that I will be gladdened in tomorrow.”
